Guest Designer at My Sheri Crafts!!.

Good afternoon everyone!!!  I was asked to be a guest designer for My Sheri Crafts and I am truly honored to be asked!! I am excited to share this card with you for the My Sheri Crafts challenge starting today!!

For this card I used Otters from Delicious Doodles. I made this into a Father's Day Card. The papers are from a KI Memories 6"x6" pad - Argyle. I embossed the brown behind the image with an embossing folder and sanded it a bit. I used a Sizzlit die to do the #1 Dad and the two circles are from My Craft Spot. I also added the three pearls and the bow. So, my three are across -- Patterned Paper, Image and Pearls. I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils.

Good morning everyone!! And Happy Meljen's Designs Challenge Day!! LOL  And it's Thursday and Thursday is my happy day because its my last day to get up and go in to work! I love working at home on Fridays! Productive, comfortable wonderful days. You can do house work and work work all at the same time and watch a movie too! LOL  I just love it :)

Alright... today at Meljen's Designs we are on Challenge #186 and the challenge is "In A Word (one word sentiment) My one word.. Hello LOL  Hey.. its plain, but it works! Here is my card:

I used this adorable Meljen's Flower Power Car. Love this little car :)  I popped the wheels and the headlights. I used k i memories stamp for the hello. The image is colored with Copic. I also added the Candi at the top of the banners and the gems at the bottom. The papers are all from my scrap box :)  Love when I use my scraps! I need to use a whole lot more so I can get rid of some. I added Diamond Glaze to the window and the headlights.

Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge #51: Paper Piecing

Good morning everyone! And happy Monday :)  Today is a new challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and I hope you will all join us. This is Challenge #51: Paper Piecing!! I can't wait to see what you all come up with. I used an image from Bugaboo - Ava and Deacon Love Word.

I love Ava and Deacon :)  I colored the image with Copic. I paper pieced the clothing... Deacon's shorts and shirt and Ava's socks, dress and bow. The embossed hearts and dots were both old cardstock I had. The pink paper is a glitter paper that I had from ages ago as well. I used two heart brads and a round brad to hold on the ki memories Ice Candy.. we know that is old! LOL I used Gold and Valentine Pink Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist as well as Red Pepper - Adirondack Color Wash on the white cardstock. I also used Red Glitter Glue on the hearts. Colorbox red ink around the sentiment. The sentiment is made by me and it is what Kevin says every day to me LOL. I thought I should get it down in a card :)  I decorated the inside of the card with the same embossed cardstock and the rest of the sentiment. Karon always inspires me to decorate the inside of my cards.. so I went for it! And there you have it!!

Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #46

Good morning everyone! Or evening for those who have just about finished their day :)  This week our challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner is Challenge #46 with a theme of Red and / or Hearts! I had the great pleasure of working with an image from KennyK - Spaced. I had SO MUCH FUN! coloring this image!!

I used scrap papers to create the card. Most of the card is made up of this awesome image! I popped certain pieces of the image.. the space ship, the satellite, a planet, the space station. I popped the couple to really make them stand out. I created the sentiment.. I knew exactly what I wanted so I created that on my own. What could fit more perfectly than U R Out of this World! :)  I colored the entire image with my Copic. I love how it turned out :)  So... part of the card is red and the other pink LOL a version of red! But I also added hearts to cover myself ;)  Those hearts are rubons from an old KI Memories Wild Things I had -- Really Old! I also used Diamond Glaze on the helmets to give them a glossy/glass look. That is hard to see in the photos.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all have a great week!! I'll be working and I trying to set up something online to sell my cards and more. A couple more weeks for us to move, so I'll be working on that as well. I managed to get all caught up at work, so I'm hoping I will have a bit of extra time on my hands to get around to some blogs!!

I {Heart} Challenges

I really do love challenges and sketches! There are so many of them all over the blogs too! I can't believe how many you can find! It really helps to get me motivated and try new things. I'm hoping I can find an easy way to compile a list. Even with Feline Playful I find it hard to find what I'm looking for, especially if its for a layout or card. Right now I have them listed in a word document. There has to be an easier way to keep track of them all! \

I worked on one today. It is a card and I used a sketch from The Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge and I used the color scheme from 365 Cards: Day 121. I also used a free digital image which will work for the challenge at Totally Papercrafts Friday Challenges. The digital image was a freebie from Bugaboo Digital Stamps. I really love their images. And one last one, Bearly Mine Challenges. they have a Anything Goes Challenge going on right now. Also, the ribbon and bows challenge at Totally Stampalicious. And here is my card:

 I used all scraps for this card. Black cardstock is bazzill and the cardstock with "sew" on it. Some of the papers are from Club Scrap and others are KI Memories. I used some black ribbon that I had. Thank you came from Nobody Sweeter Stamp set. I just coated the thank you and not the rest of it with my Noir Palette Hybrid Ink. The sew and much are some letter stamps that I have. I have no idea where they are from but I have a couple of different sets. I love them because they are just the perfect size for what I need a lot of times. I colored the mouse using Copics C2, C3, C5, C6 and 100. The needle is silver.. I used Adirondack Mixatives Silver to coat that.  The thread is just black DMC. I inked the frame behind the mouse with my cat's eye inks.. rouge for the large inking and then a combination of warm red and Dark Peony around the edges. And I think that's it. Oh!! And I LOVE my little floral frog! Got it on ebay.. I just love that thing! I kept seeing them everywhere and then when I finally figured out what it was and got one. LOVE IT! I got recognized at ScrapMuch? as the June Sketch Winner. Wow!  How great :)  THANK YOU!! I couldn't be more excited! I really enjoy the sketches there. I think I did a few of them last month. You should definitely check it out!

I was also so happy to be recognized at Let's Get Sketchy. I was recognized as one of the top three for the week. THANK YOU So much Let's Get Sketchy! I love the sketches and I look forward to them!! I really appreciate the recognition :)

Now it's time to get back to work. This should be a pretty easy week I hope. My best friend comes back in town on Wednesday so I will be spending the day with her. I will probably work from home Thursday and Friday. I love holiday weeks! Have a great Monday everyone!
