New Image Release at The East Wind

Good morning everyone!!  Yesterday I had a stress test .... this was my last clearance before surgery. Now I'm just waiting for the okay. I should have surgery scheduled in the next two or three weeks. When she told me that yesterday the nerves hit me!  So, I meet with the Cardiologist on Thursday and then with the Bariatric Surgeon next Tuesday!  So, we will see!!  I have a lot of mixed feelings... excitement, nervousness, scared! Did I excited?? LOL  I'm really excited.. and really nervous at the same time!  Okay.. enough of that... on to my post :)

Today I am sharing one of the new release images from March for The East Wind. Here is what I have done:

I am trying to use my pencils to get more experience, so I used my pencils for this one. I'm pretty sure I used my Faber-Castell Polychromos on this image. I decided to keep her all pink with a touch of blue and create a Breast Cancer card.. an 'I'm here for you'. I added two types of lace, some thread attached the 'Hope' charm that I found at Michaels in the jewelry section. The two rectangles are cut with Spellbinders dies. I added a few pearls near the sentiment, pink gems around the inner rectangle and stamped the ribbon at the top. I also stamped 'Fight Like A Girl' to the inside of the card. I did a bit of layering on this image; hopefully you can see in the photos well enough.

SLSLines March Inspiration!!

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! TGIF!!!!  Today I'm working from home and I meet with the Dietician. And I am SO HAPPY it is the weekend!! Woot!  I have a bunch of crafting to do... so that will be my weekend hopefully!!  Happy Friday everyone!!

Today I'm sharing my inspiration post for SLSLines Digital Stamps!!  I hope you all are joining us for the challenges!! Here is my inspiration:

I had so much one making this card, but even more fun coloring the image! I colored the image with my Faber-Castell Polychromos. I wanted to have him with some spots of rust. I layered him a bit too! I popped up several pieces of him.. hopefully the photos will show you! And I thought I would add a bunch of gears on the card! So I created this fun card from a Silhouette Cameo cut. I used some really old papers that I had. I'm not even sure who made them!!  All the gears were cut from Spellbinders and My Favorite Things dies. I added blue gems to parts of the gears. I also added some metal gears that I found in Michaels in the jewelry section. A bunch of metal gears.. I couldn't resist! The Happy Birthday is stamped from a Paper Smooches Stamp. I really hope you enjoy him!!  I think he is such a GREAT ROBOT!!! Be sure to grab him from SLSLines Digital Stamps Shop!!

Here is what I have created for the midway post at Open-Minded Crafting Fun:

I decided to create a little ATC of Santa at the beach!!  This image is Surfin' Santa from Digital Delights! I layered him a little bit. I created three surfboards with my Silhouette Cameo. Then I printed the Surf's Up and cut around the words with a Funky Tag Sizzlit. March Cuddly Buddly #2

Good morning everyone! Today is Thursday -- Woot Woot!!  I had my last clearance today for surgery, Cardiovascular, but I left disappointed! He is making me do a stress test with Echo, so that puts everything off for at least a couple of more weeks. I will go in for the stress test on the 30th of March. Oh well! Better safe than sorry .. so I just need to suck it up and get ready for the stress test I guess! If I pass that then I'm all cleared. I meet with the Bariatric Surgeon on Monday... so we will see what he says and go from there.

Alright... enough of my disappointing morning LOL  On to more fun things!  Today I'm sharing my second Cuddly Buddly creation with you for March!

For this one I have used Snow Buddies - Pachela Studios, which you can find at the Cuddly Buddly  Digital Shop!! I colored this image with my Prismacolor Pencils. I'm trying to work with both the Prismacolor Pencils and Faber-Castell Polychromos to improve my coloring! I layered the rim of the hat and the front of the scarf. The papers are all from my scrap box; Still trying to use up my scraps!! The edge of the card is lined with a Memory Box snowflake die. The circle is a Spellbinders die and then I added the two different shades of blue snowflake eyelets. I have used eyelets in such a long time! I stamped Snow Day from one of my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp Set -- Snow Day Lucas. I added the white and pearl dew drops, some lace and a bit of stitching to finish it off! For the inside I used some more of those scrap papers and added some additional lace and dew drops to finish it off.

Last Meljen's Post Ever :(

Good morning everyone!!  Happy Tuesday! Today is my very last post at Meljen's Post ... EVER! I'm so sad about it too :(  I always love working with Meljen's images and I'll still continue to use them. But to think this is it! I have absolutely LOVED being on the Meljen's DT Team; I would have never left on my own accord; They would have had to boot me out! It was the best team! And Melissa is an amazing artist! I know she will do well in anything she does!

Alright... for my last post I wanted to continue to work on my little Christmas Song Album. This is my little album out of paper bags.. it's coming along. I only have one more page after this to complete it and the cover and back cover. Here it is:

For this one I have chose 'Mary Did You Know' as the song. I colored the image with my Copic Markers. This is Nativity Joseph and Mary Bears. I did a small amount of decoupage on the image. I've added some small red and green flowers and put black pearls as their center. On the 2nd page I layered two lighter green blooms on top of one another and made a center out of three small bells, green, red and gold. All of the white papers are inked with Sepia. On the 2nd page the song lyrics are printed. The papers I used are all scraps from my scrap boxes!  Still trying to use them as much as I can!

Hoping to get some crafting done when I get home! I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Today I'm sharing my second Whiff of Joy post for March:

For this card I've used Happy Couple In Love which you can find in the Whiff of Joy shop. I had so much fun coloring this image. I colored them up with my Copic Markers. I did a bit of layering with them and the hearts. The circle cut around them is a My Favorite Thing die cute. I used several different doilies under the circle. All of these papers are scraps! I added some large white pearls on the smaller doilies and then some red pearls. I added some Opaque White detailing and some red glitter on the large heart.
