Open-Minded Crafting Fun May Challenge #5

Good morning everyone!! Happy Tuesday and Happy 10th of the Month! Today is a new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun and this month we are celebrating the theme "Use Your Favorite Technique"! This is a fun one for me! I love seeing what everyone is else is doing and new techniques! It gives me a ton of new ideas to make note of! I love this.. I can't wait to see what everyone does!!

For this one I have used The Little Dragonfly from Julia Spiri Stamps. I have no idea where I picked up this awesome flower scene. It is just loaded with tulips. When I saw it I thought it would be perfect to put her flying above them. I colored everything with my Copic markers. I have used a couple of die cuts and everything is done with scraps. I also added the ribbon, the small pearls on the butterfly and the small star gems that I purchased from Etsy. I have done a bit of image layering on this and there is my favorite technique... well one of them! I love decoupage, layering my images. I also love coloring with Copics, die cuts and creating backgrounds with Distress Ink. I have also used some Copic Opaque White on her hair.

Fowl of All Kinds.. errr.. well... Birds! at Open-Minded Crafting Fun.

Good morning!

Today is the midway post for Challenge #23 at Open-Minded Crafting Fun!! The winners from Challenge #22 are posted this morning and you can come back for the midway post at noon! We want to see your fowl... or just your birds.. any birds! We have some great sponsors for this challenge and we want to thank them all SO VERY much!!!



And here is my creation for the Midway Post at Open-Minded:








For this I used Lisbeth on a Swing from MilkCoffee Stamps. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I used several dies for this card.. the border at the bottom, the actual shape of the card, the cut around the image and the flowers as well. The flowers are My Favorite Things I think.. I'm not sure what the bottom border is. The die around the image is Spellbinders and the card was cut using the Cameo. I added some stickles to the maroon flowers to add some sparkle to them. I used gems for the centers of the flowers and small yellow gems on the side of the image. I distressed the edge of the patterned paper. I did do a little bit of decoupage. I popped the birds, her hands and her legs.

Challenge #48 at Crafting When We Can

Good morning everyone! I'm posting a bit late this morning. Hubby and I have been working on an en devour over at Stitchy Bears and it has taken most of my weekend to get us all set. I had to finish my ATC this morning for Crafting When We Can. So here we go:

Today begins a new challenge at Crafting When We Can. We are on Challenge #48: Christmas In July.

I was fortunate enough to be able to use Xmas Pudding from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps! The sentiment was created by myself and you can find it here. I created an ATC with this Xmas Pudding! I used all scrap papers and colored the image with my Copic. I decoupaged the image a bit too.
