Open-Minded Crafting Fun May Challenge #5

Good morning everyone!! Happy Tuesday and Happy 10th of the Month! Today is a new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun and this month we are celebrating the theme "Use Your Favorite Technique"! This is a fun one for me! I love seeing what everyone is else is doing and new techniques! It gives me a ton of new ideas to make note of! I love this.. I can't wait to see what everyone does!!

For this one I have used The Little Dragonfly from Julia Spiri Stamps. I have no idea where I picked up this awesome flower scene. It is just loaded with tulips. When I saw it I thought it would be perfect to put her flying above them. I colored everything with my Copic markers. I have used a couple of die cuts and everything is done with scraps. I also added the ribbon, the small pearls on the butterfly and the small star gems that I purchased from Etsy. I have done a bit of image layering on this and there is my favorite technique... well one of them! I love decoupage, layering my images. I also love coloring with Copics, die cuts and creating backgrounds with Distress Ink. I have also used some Copic Opaque White on her hair.

Thinkin' Pink*

Happy Thursday everyone!! I hope you all are having a great week! It is almost to the end! We will have a busy weekend. Bailey and I found some shoes to go along with her dress. She showed me a fancy braid that she wants me to do to her hair. I'm excited for her.. she is excited too! Alright... I have to get busy!!  So here is my card I'm sharing today:










This image is Little Fairy from Julia Spiri. I decided to go Pink with her and add her to my Pink Bra card :)  I did a small amount of layering.She is colored with Copic Markers. The card and pieces are all cut with the Silhouette Cameo. I added some clear Wink of Stella to her wings.. Love that sparkle. I added a bit of silver Wink of Stella around her shoes and a reddish pink Wink of Stella for the dots around her wings. The bra is embossed and I inked the embossing folder. I used all scraps for this except for the card base... I used a piece of light kraft for that. I have gotten some great different shades of kraft paper from Kraft Outlet. I added some gems and stamped the Think Pink.

Spidery Witch*

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday :)  Or as happy as it can be HAHA! I'll be headed off to work soon. I was able to finish a card yesterday. That is all I worked on yesterday too! It was a beautiful day! The air was crisp and cool. I love the fall! There was one annoyance and that was a couple of little dogs behind us and over. They have barked incessantly all weekend long! It has gotten on my very last nerve! It starts in the morning and goes until the evening. Other than that it has been a great weekend :)

Okay.. here is my card:









For this card I have used Gothic Witch from Julia Spiri. I colored the image with my Copic Markers and I've also used a bit of Copic Opaque White. I did a little bit of layering on this image as well. I've added some inking around all the papers. All of the papers are once again scraps... although I'm getting lower and lower on my halloween and my fall scrap papers! I added a bit of ribbon down the center. I have this webbed ribbon in several colors... I juts love it! The sentiment is stamped and I've added some green gems to that as well as some black pearls to the image. The little bat in the corner is metal.
