One Stitch At A Time Challenge #170

Good morning everyone! The weekend just seems like it has flown by! Kevin went and took the motorcycle test yesterday and got his driver's license. Bailey had a birthday party at the skating rink and we took her to that. Then we had to run down my sister's motorcycle back to Atlanta. Yesterday late afternoon we went and saw Superman. That has been the weekend so far. And Superman!!! WAS FANTASTIC!!!! But... after all that, it's already Sunday and the weekend is almost over!! And that stinks!! Alright... on to the challenge this week.

We are on Challenge #170 at One Stitch At A Time. Our theme for this challenge is the ever popular Anything Goes!!

For this challenge I used Heartfelt House by Hope Jacare Doodles. I love this image and I had fun coloring it. I colored the image with my Prismacolor Pencils. I used Mister Huey's Bubbles Mask for the background and sprayed it with Butterscotch spray. The papers are all from Club Scrap. I have these kids forever! The buttons I've had forever too LOL So that is from my stash. I popped the roof. I added the yellow ribbon and I created the sentiment. I wanted to go with a yellow ribbon Welcome Home theme. Thats it!! Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Challenge #166 A Charming Project at MelJen's Designs

Today is a new challenge at Meljen's Designs! We are on Challenge #166 - A Charming Project. So, you need to use a charm on your project. I used a couple of different images for this one:

I use Snowglobe Plus Decorations for my base. I also used the bell and the holly on the side. I made a shaker box with the globe. I colored the image with Copic and popped the tail, the ball and the foot. I used my snow maker and made some snow at the bottom. I used the tinsel to go around the outside of the globe. I stamped Season's Greetings! at the bottom from a Inkadinkado Stamp Set. I added the candy cane charm onto the base.  I stamped the inside of the card with a stamp from the same Inkadinkado Stamp Set.

Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #68

Good morning! I have spent the weekend crafting. It has been a nice, relaxing weekend. We have a new member of the family. We have had her for a week now, her name is Brisket. She is our new dog that we saved from being put to sleep. She is about 18 months old and she is really fitting in well. She is a really good dog and she seems to be settling down and happy. I'll have to post some photos! So, now we have T-Bone and Brisket... to keep with the steak cut names LOL I hope you all have a great week... off to work time!

Tammy's Scrapin Corner is playing with Challenge #68 this week. Our theme this week is to create a Step Card... any kind of step card. I have done two cards for this challenge:

For this card I used an image from our sponsor SKdigis - Beach Scene. I created a step card, but I colored two of this image and I wanted to use them both, so I also used the waterfall technique. A small waterfall LOL, but a waterfall just the same.I colored these images with my Prismacolor Pencils. I added twine on my pull and an eyelet beach ball as well. I used a stamp for the sentiment and at the bottom I layered torn paper and I used chalk to add some detail.  And that is my first step card.

Challenges:

For this card I used our other sponsors image, Kitchen Chicken Soup - Bugaboo. For this card I spent a lot of time weaving the white and the red paper LOL I cut 1/4" wide strips and when I had them woven I glued them down onto a piece of chipboard. I used one of my Spellbinders dies. I doodled around the edge of it with a 005 Prismacolor Pen. I colored the image with Copic and I layered the pot. I added the sentiment on the left side which I printed on my red paper and cut out. I added the brads under the words just to add that little bit of yellow to bring it all together.

Copic:
Red: R22, R24, R27, R29
Yellow: Y23, Y32
Pot and Spoon: C1, C3, C5, C7
Handle: T3, T5, T7, T9
White Highlight: E41

Today is Challenge #67 at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and our theme this week is "Anything With Wings". I love this theme... fairies, butterflies, dragons, angels.. You name it.. all that is awesome LOL So here is my card for our challenge this week:

For this challenge I was lucky enough to be able to work with Devilish Donna from KennyK. I love all his images.. they are just fantastic! And easy to color and just FUN! I colored the image with Copic. I added a small pearl swirl, crinkle ribbon that is a hot pinkish color and the flowers. The cutout circle I created with Spellbinders dies and the sentiment was created by me. I decoupaged several parts of the image. I popped each ruffle on the dress seperately and I also popped the top of the dress and her hair. You can see that in the close up photos of the image. I tried to show it the best I could. The papers are all from my stash and I have no idea where they are from. They have been in my stash for oh so many years LOL.

Use A Digi @ One Stitch At A Time

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you all are having a really nice weekend! We had storms go through on Thursday evening. We lost power for a little bit and a tree in the yard broke at the top. No major damage or anything. I took the kids to the movies on Friday around noon.. they were going to see Fast 6. When we got back home at 1 pm or so, we had lost power! I spent the next few hours trying to find a good place to connect back into work, which I did. We didn't have power until after 7 pm. It was really strange because we had power after the storm all the way to midday the next day and then nothing LOL Oh well.. at least we got power back and all is good. They were some really strong storms, a lot of rain and wind! I hope the rest of you did all right through the storms if you had any go through!

Yesterday, Kevin and I were going to go see a movie. We always go to the 10:30 am movie, because there isn't much of a crowd. We went and the parking lot was full today! So, we changed our mind and went back home LOL Maybe next weekend! It is the opening weekend for Superman and I should have known it would be that way! LOL Kevin went for a ride instead, we watched Oz the Great and Powerful.. it was okay, and then later in the evening we went out and and he had a coffee. I just needed to get out for a bit. It has been a nice weekend. I have been coloring.. LOL Thats the usual ;)

This week we have Challenge #168: Use A Digi over at One Stitch At A Time. For this challenge I used a Stitchy Designs Image - So Sorry. I love this little fairy!! Here is my card:

I colored the image with Copic Markers. I added some glitter to her wings and gems to the sentiment on the front and the centers of her flowers in her hair. The papers are all from Basic Grey and this is from a 6x6 pack: Kneehighs. Love these papers! I used one of my edge punches on the green.
