Floral ATC*

Good morning! Saturday was a pretty lazy day. We did go out in the morning to Goodwill and then to pick up some dog treats. The rest of the day I colored and created. It was a good day. Today, we will be going to church a bit later, but I plan to have another day of rest and creating. I'm hoping to get a bit more coloring done and if I'm lucky, another card or two. If I'm lucky! LOL  We will see how that goes. I hope you all have a blessed Sunday and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Today I'm sharing an ATC I finished up with:

I had so much fun with this image! This is Keep In Faith from Ching-Chou Kuik. I colored this image with my Copic Markers. I did a little bit of layering on the image. I layered the flowers and branches. I added a little bit of clear Wink of Stella on her eyes. The swirls are die cut with a Cheery Lynn die and the butterfly is a die, but I'm not sure who that die belongs to. I added yellow glitter to the butterfly die and some blue pearls. The sunflowers at the top are cut using my Silhouette Cameo. I used all scraps for this. The ATC was cut using Kraft and then I used a scrap of dark blue and distressed the edge of that paper. I added a white doily which is under the flowers and butterfly towards the top. I added some Distress ink around the edge of the doily. Thanks for looking!!

Copic Colors Used:
  • Hair: B02, B23, B24, B28, YR20, YR21, YR24

Today we are on a new challenge at SLSLines Digi Stamps; Challenge #5 - Portrait. Here is what I have done with this challenge:

I used papers from Mambi and the gold paper is from my stash of scraps! I used some green from my stash as well to cut the Cheery Lynn swirl. The circles are Spellbinders dies. Good morning everyone! What's been going on? We are well on our way in the process of purchasing a home! We will close on the 22nd of January. This weekend our plan is to get the kitchen packed up and only leave the bare medium out for us to use. Other than that, I'm hoping to craft!

Today is Saturday and our winners for Challenge #26 are posted this morning at Open-Minded Crafting Fun! That was our All White Challenge and our sponsors for Challenge #26 were Digital Delights, Jessica Weible Illustrations, Paper Pretties, Sami Stamps and Sassy Studio Designs. Be sure to check out our Winners and DT Favorites!

And we are on a midway post for Challenge #27: New Years Resolutions!! You still have a week to get in our first challenge of 2015!! Our sponsors for Challenge #27 are:

I love our sponsors! And I want to thank our wonderful sponsors for everything they do!!

Here is my project for Challenge #27:

For the Midway Challenge #27 I have created this Cascade Card! I chose to do a Christmas Card for my New Years Resolutions. I have three of them! One is to start shopping for Christmas gifts starting at the beginning of the year! I want to purchase Christmas gifts all through the year so it doesn't hit us all at once at the beginning of the year! So, that is one New Years Resolutions! The second one is to work on Christmas Cards all year long! I think I did okay last year getting a bunch of Christmas cards done through the year and I want to stay on track and do it again this year! So, this is my start! First Christmas card of 2015! And the third one is to use a LOT of my scrap papers this year! I have a ton of scraps and I want to get through a bunch of them! For this card I have used ALL scraps except for the base of the card!  So there you have it... Three New Years Resolutions to work on this year!! :)

For this card I've used Little Present from Zuri Artsy Craftsy Digital Stamps! i colored her with both my Copic Markers and my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol, with a bit of Copic Opaque White for highlights.. I had a lot of fun making this Cascade card. This is the fist time I've created one of these! I've used a couple of different Spellbinders circles dies. I did a bit of decoupage on her as well. I added the holly swirl from Cheery Lynn. And the green and red gems around the circle. The fabric holly leaves were from a Challenge win! I stamped the Merry Christmas, which is from Paper Smooches, twice and put them on the different layers of the card. And that is it! I hope you join us for our challenge!!

Copic Markers Used:
  • Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
  • Hair: E21, E25, E27, E29

Happy New Year With Meljen's Designs!!

Good morning again everyone! And a very Happy New Year :)  I'm hoping to spend my day just crafting!  We will see if that works out how I plan LOL!! It doesn't normally!

For today, we are on Challenge #241 at Meljen's Designs! We are starting off with an easy Anything Goes Challenge to start back our challenges and to start the New Year :)

For this challenge I worked on another page of my little mini bag album with the Christmas Carols theme. This song is The Friendly Beasts and I thought it was fitting for the Nativity Donkey and Nativity Camel. You can find both of these at the Meljen's Shop individually or you can find in the Nativity Set. I really love this set :)

I colored the images with my Copic Markers and I did a very small amount of decoupage on them. All of the papers are scraps! Let's see if I can use scraps all of January! LOL  I cut a Cheery Lynn's swirl die a couple of times and inked the edges of the white paper used.

Copic Markers Used:
  • Camel and Donkey Cheeks: R20, R22
  • Camel Fur: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E49

We watched V8 racing, my oldest daughter came down for a visit, Kevin and I went out to Dinner with my previous Boss on Saturday night and that is pretty much it!  It was a nice weekend. Too bad it is over! I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

Today I am posting my first Whiff of Joy project for December. For this card I decided to go with a Friendship Card:

I added some twine and ribbon, a Sizzix die cut, a Cheery Lynn swirl die cut, and some flowers. The paper in the back is spritzed with several different paints and embossed. The bear and bee are colored with Copic Markers and a small amount of decoupage was done.

Meljen's Designs DT Day Inspiration December!.

Happy December everyone!! Only two Meljen's posts this month! I was lucky enough to grab one of the DT Days! And then my Thursday Challenge Post!  Today is my DT Inspiration!  Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Okay.. let me explain.... LOL  This is my work in progress. I wanted to do a mini bag album with the Meljen's Nativity set. This is the first double page layout of this album. I decided to do some carols with it. On one side will be the words to a song and then the other page will be a photo layout. For this one the song is "Do You Hear What I Hear?". And the image is Nativity Shepherd's Sheep which you can of course find in the Meljen's Designs Shop!! Stay tuned for other pages as they come.. and when I finish it off I will send photos of the completed album and pages :) The image was colored with my Copic markers and a bit of decoupage done. Some of the papers were inked, others distressed. I used a border punch of stars on this page and used some of the punched out stars as embellishments as well. I also added some ribbon. The vines are Cheery Lynn die cuts and the banner is a Sizzix die cut. All of the papers are scraps from last years Christmas papers!

Copic Markers Used:
  • Robe, Pants, head Covering: E41, E42; B00, B000
  • Shepherd and Sheep: E40,0
  • Hooves: N0, N3, N5

Challenge 2 at SLS Lines.

Good morning! And a very happy Sunday to you. I'm still not feeling great!! But I think I'm on the mend.. I think LOL! Ughhh I hate feeling like crap!! But I've take photos of the rest of my October creations and it's time to start working on November. So, for the rest of the day I'm hoping to color. I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend!

Today we are starting Challenge #2 at SLS Lines Digital Stamps!!  I hope to see you joining in!! Our theme for this challenge is 'Pink'! So, get out your pink and let's see what you've got!!  Here is what I came up with:

I am using Lady With Flowers which you can find in the SLS Lines Digital Stamp Shop. I used my Copic Markers to color this image. I did a small amount of decoupage.. just the flowers in her hair! I added a couple of die cut swirls from Cheery Lynn. The butterflies are Spellbinders. The shape that the image is cut is also a Spellbinders die. I added the random pink flowers and pink pearls. I also added white pearls on the butterflies. Then to finish it off I added some pink lace with pink ribbon on top of that. The 'thank you' and the 'thank you for your friendship' are both stamps. I inked with a bit of brown around the image as well! All of these papers are really old.. I couldn't tell you how long I've had them or who they belong to either LOL
