October DT Day with Meljen's Designs.

Good morning Everyone!! Today I am having a day off.. to stress about my day off tomorrow filled with Dr. Appointments LOL  Just the yearly stuff, but still!! I hate it!!!  So... I'm going to try to enjoy today!!! Hope you all have a great one!!

Today is my DT Day at Meljen's Designs for October. I decided to go with a fall inspiration today. Here is what I have come up with:









I have used Acorn Mouse which you can find at the Meljen's Shop. I have decoupaged all of the nuts. They are all rounded a bit and layered. The card cut was from a silhouette cut.. I layered with some scrap fall papers that I had. I added the gems at the top, the pearls at the bottom and the ribbon across. I stamped the outside with the 'Happy Fall' and then the "...from one nut to another!" on the inside.

August DT Day at Meljen's Designs.

Good morning everyone! I hope the start of your week is going well.

Today it is my August Design Team Day at Meljen's Designs. My inspiration for today is this little cutie:








I am so happy that I chose to use these colors on this adorable little Cuddle Dragon. You can find him at the Meljen's Designs Shop. I colored him up with my Copic Markers. I decoupaged his little closest leg, his head and the front wing. The Relax and the little flower is an old Rubon from the age of dinosaurs LOL!!  Then I also added some dew drops, flowers and leaves and the ribbon. I used a little of the same ribbon on the inside. I'm all about matching on the inside ;)  And that is about it.. pretty simple card. I love these little dragons! I have the other ones printed just waiting for me to color too! But then.. I love fantasy and all things dragon LOL!!

• I love ribbon and dew drops. I think ribbon just adds something special. You can just have a strip of it or a nice bow. It is such an inexpensive add to any project that just adds so much. One of my new favorites is dew drops! I love them! I love that they give that little bubble look. They come in a multitude of colors and I just think they are fantastic!

My July DT Day at Meljen's Designs!.

Good morning everyone :)  Me again.. three posts in one day! Sheesh!! LOL  So, for my last post today I am sharing Meljen's Designs. Today is my DT Day at Meljen's and for this one I created a card for this little boy:



He has an inoperable brain tumor and all he would like for his birthday coming up next week is a box of birthday cards. I hope his wish comes true! I hope he ends up with a bunch of amazing cards!!! You can read the store here at ABC News. I hope you all will join in as well!

Here is the card I created using Dirt Storm Monster Truck.









I colored this image with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I used a banner die cut for the Birthday Boy at the top. The letters are old Doodlebug rubons. The mud splats are Sizzix die cuts. I used chalk around the edges of the splats to add a bit of detail and dimension. I decoupaged the image.. I popped the card and the tires and the flag on the back. I hope he likes it!

DT Day at Meljen's Designs.

Happy Tuesday everyone. Today is my DT Day at Meljen's Design and I'm going to share a new card with you.







For this card I used the wonderful Frog In My Pocket that you can find at Meljen's Designs. I had a lot of fun coloring this little guy and then decoupaging him. I colored him with my Copic markers. I colored him with dots and then I used the Colorless Blender to add additional dots. I love coloring this way. I think it adds a lot of texture!  I have had that pocket die cut for a long time too and I've been waiting to use it!! So, I used my little pocket die and added the sentiment. I inked around the pieces of white paper and I added the twine. I added the blue gems.

DT Day at Meljens Designs - St. Patricks.

Maybe a day late for St. Patrick's Day.. but today is my DT Day at Meljens Designs and I've decided to share some St. Patrick's Day love anyway :)  There are some amazing Meljens images for St. Patrick's Day... new and old!!

I decided to try one of those boxes that I've seen everywhere!! Here it is:







For the images I have used Dancing Leprechaun, Little Shamrocks, Luck O the Irish and St. Patrick's Cupcake.

I used my Copic markers to color the images. I inked around the edges of some. All of the papers are scraps that I have been working on for other projects. the images were decoupaged... I tried to show you which ones. I also added the ribbons and the gems. I love how this thing folds up to fit in an envelope. Its really great!
