Challenge #16 @ The East Wind.

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! So happy it is Wednesday!! Had a rough night last night with the kids.. teenagers!! o.O  Oh well.. we will get through this too!! Have to meet with the boss today... that always stresses me out. Other than that.. just another day in the neighborhood!!

Today is our October 1st challenge at The East Wind!!  And Kyra has once again outdone herself with this FABULOUS and unique freebie!!  Just Love her!!!

Here is what I have created for Challenge #16: Thanksgiving:

This is Aurora Turkey - the October Freebie from The East Wind. I can't tell you how generous Kyra is!! She is the most wonderful and generous artist out there! Just look at this amazing image! LOL  She is fantastic!!! I decoupaged her three levels... the feathers in the middle and then her on top. I colored her with my Copic markers. The card was cut using my Silhouette Cameo as well as the sunflowers. The papers are all from Club Scrap. The fiber and twine are also from Club Scrap. Let's Talk Turkey was cut using the Cameo as well. And I did stamp Happy Thanksgiving on the inside. I think she turned out okay :) Be sure to join The East Wind and get the newsletter so you too can grab these amazing freebies and join in the challenges each month!!

Copic Markers Used:
  • Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
  • Lips: R02
  • Snood: R20, R22, R14, R24, R35, R46
  • Turkey Feathers: E95, E97, E99; E23, E25, E27; N4, N6, N8
  • Hair: Y21, YR23, YR24
  • Dress: W1, W3, W5, W7, W9
  • Eyes: B00, B02, B04

Fabulous fold and you did an amazing job with that image. At first glance I thought you had put real feathers in her skirt.
