On The Darker Side @ Delicious Doodles.

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday.

Today we are starting Challenge #89 which has a theme of On The Darker Side. Be sure to come play along at Delicious Doodles!! I can't wait to see everyone's Darker Side!!!  Here is what I came up with.. although.. I hate spiders LOL!!!

The image is Black Widow. She is so great!! I decided to go with a black and red type these with a little bit of purple.. that is her skin color. She likes the dark! So she is a bit pale LOL I colored her with Copic Markers. I added a little bit of gold using my gold sparkle marker. I used several different die cuts, including the corner, the flowers and the swirls that are behind her. I embossed a strip of paper down the center with a brick pattern to add a bit of texture.  I added black pearls to the center of the flowers and the sentiment. I used a doily under her and sprayed that with several mists.. purple, red, and gold.  Then I added the lace at the top and the red ribbon right on top of it.

Copic:
  • Skin: BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29
  • Shirt: W1, W3, W5, W7, W9
  • Spiders: C3, C5, C7, C9
  • Red: R14, R27, R29, R59
  • Flame: R29, YR09, Y19
  • Eyes: YG01, YG05, YG09
