Whiff of Joy Christmas.

Good morning everyone!

Today I'm sharing a new Christmas creation with you:








As you can see, I made a set of three cards. They are 4x4 cards with lots of layers. I colored My Best Winter Friends with both Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils. You can find My Best Winter Friend at the Whiff of Joy Shop. I added green and red gems and the red twine. I distressed the edges of the layered papers. This was a great way to use up some scraps I had from last year! And the sentiment is stamped.

Christmas In October.

Good morning! Happy Friday.. Finally!!  I'm feeling a little bit sick.. My throat is a bit sore.. almost a raw feeling. annoying!  Kevin is feeling the same. We blame my youngest LOL!! I'm just glad it is Friday.. almost the weekend!  Hope you guys have a great night!

Today we are starting Challenge #109: Christmas in October over at Delicious Doodles. Teri has some amazing Christmas images! Here is what I have done:








I used Olyvia for this card and I colored her with my Copic Markers. You can find her at the Delicious Doodles Shop. The card shape and snowflake was cut using the Silhouette Cameo. I used glitter to cover the entire snowflake and swirls. I only did a small amount of decoupage on this image. I popped the front arm. I added a confetti glitter to the fur parts of her robe. I stamped the sentiment and placed it on the inside, but so you could see it when the card was closed as well.

Thursday at Meljen's Designs.

Good morning! Happy Wednesday!! I hope you all are having a great week so far! I have been super busy at work. Kevin started a job yesterday and I'm really a bit down about it. It was really lonely when I came home yesterday. I've been trying to work on cards when I get home. I have two done. I want to finish one more before the weekend.  That's about it!

Today is our Challenge #231 at Meljen's Designs and the theme is Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend! When I thought about this challenge I thought.. Hmm.. I need a diva and I need to add some gems! LOL  So here is what I came up with:






Of course.. trying to get some Christmas cards finished LOL I've opted for another Christmas design. I have used Santa Baby Diva. I colored her with Copic markers. I decoupaged her a bit.. I popped her head and her front arm and the puffs around her outfit. I have also added Stickles to those to add that glitter. I added the two Santa's on the side and the tinsel around the edge. I added the two red pearls and the gems around her for that diamonds part of the challenge :)  The sentiment was created by me.

October with Cuddly Buddly.

Good morning everyone! And Happy Tuesday! Not too much going on this week. I didn't get anything accomplished like I wanted to this weekend, so I'll try to get it done this week. Kevin starts a job tomorrow.. I'm a little sad about it. I like having him at home. Oh well.. maybe it will just be for a little while. If the kids father... grrr... I won't go into that LOL!!  Bathurst is this weekend.. So I'm excited about that too! Kevin and I will get to watch that online :)  I hope you all have a fantastic week ahead! I'm looking forward to the weekend!

Today I am sharing my first Cuddly Buddly post for October. Here is what I have created:








For this card I have used Karen Middleton - Playful Christmas Kitten which you can find at the Cuddly Buddly Digital Shop. I colored this with my Copic Markers. I added some glitter around the middle of the ornament and the sparkle on the ornament. I added the gold lace. The sentiment is stamped. I also cut the holly corner with my Silhouette Cameo, added chalk for detail and the pearls for berries. I also added pearls to the inside.

Good morning!! Today is a busy Taxi Mom day!!!  After Michael does the mowing he is going to school to help build the set for drama. Bailey spent the night with a friend, but I have to pick her up and get her to her Lacrosse game in Decatur.. that will take us about an hour to get to. Her game starts at 2 pm, she has to be there at 1 pm and that means I have to leave here about 11:30 to go get her and then on the road to her game. It is CHILLY out this morning too!! Loving it!!! Then... Bailey wants to go back to her friends because she is having a house warming party or something like that. So, yes.. busy day today!! I'm hoping to get home so I can relax and work on some cards! My goal is to finish up my October DT cards this weekend!

For this card I've used Boo and Snookie from A & T Digital Designs. I colored them up with my Copic Markers. I did do some decoupage with the snail, snail shell, wings. The die cut it a Spellbinders die. All of the papers are from my last years Fall supply LOL Trying to use up what I have! I added the ribbon, stitched around the edge. I added gems around the edge of the die cut. The little squirrel and the nut are cut from the Cameo.  I added glitter to the swirly parts of the nuts.

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! So happy it is Wednesday!! Had a rough night last night with the kids.. teenagers!! o.O  Oh well.. we will get through this too!! Have to meet with the boss today... that always stresses me out. Other than that.. just another day in the neighborhood!!

Today is our October 1st challenge at The East Wind!!  And Kyra has once again outdone herself with this FABULOUS and unique freebie!!  Just Love her!!! 

Here is what I have created for Challenge #16: Thanksgiving:








This is Aurora Turkey - the October Freebie from The East Wind. I can't tell you how generous Kyra is!! She is the most wonderful and generous artist out there! Just look at this amazing image! LOL  She is fantastic!!! I decoupaged her three levels... the feathers in the middle and then her on top. I colored her with my Copic markers. The card was cut using my Silhouette Cameo as well as the sunflowers. The papers are all from Club Scrap. The fiber and twine are also from Club Scrap. Let's Talk Turkey was cut using the Cameo as well. And I did stamp Happy Thanksgiving on the inside.
