Mother's Day At Tammy's Scrapin Corner

Happy Monday everyone!! Time to start another work week .. bleeeckkk! The weekend sure goes by way too quick! Its here and then gone before you know it. It has been a rainy weekend here too, so a lot of staying inside. I have been crafting this weekend and blowing my nose a lot LOL I haven't felt terrible, just stuffy head, congested. My oldest daughter finished school last week and I believe she will be headed home tomorrow. It has been a relaxed weekend, which has been nice. On to our challenge now.

Today over at Tammy's Scrapin Corner we are beginning Challenge #61 and our theme for this challenge is Mother's Day. Here is my card:

For this card I used Mouse In The House from Digi Stamp Characters. I used several different paper flowers from Spellbinders and My Favorite Things. I used two different swirls from Cheery Lynn which I cut into pieces and placed in different areas around the flowers. I used 3 different die cuts from Spellbinders - two scalloped circles and one circle. The "Mother's Day" was cut from Sizzlits Script and the Happy is from Paper Smooches. I used blue and purple Stickles. I distressed the edges of some of the paper, I sewed around a couple of the papers and I doodled along the edge of the scalloped circle. I colored the image with my Copic and I popped a couple of small pieces, the sleeve, the flowers, the gift.

Copic:
Mice - C00, C2, C3, C5, C6, C7, C9
Shirts and Flowers - V91, V93, V95 & BG53, BG57
Gift - E74, E77E79, RV11, RV13, RV14
Nose - RV11, RV13

Have a FANTASTIC week ahead everyone!!!

One Stitch At A Time Challenge #162.

Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope your weekend has been great! This week at One Stitch At A Time we have Challenge #162 - Anything Goes!! Here is my card for this week:

For this challenge I used A Spellbinder die cut and the flowers are punches. I used the Otters image; It is such a beautiful image! . And I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils. I used green gems to put in the middle of the punched flowers.I used a Designed To Color Sketch and on the squares I loaded them with Diamond Glaze and then cracked them. It is hard to see them because of the image :)

Challenges:
I've been icky so far this weekend. It has been raining all day yesterday and I have a head cold. I don't feel terrible! I just don't feel that great! LOL I hope you all are having a great weekend!

Meljens Designs Challenge #158.

It's Thursday!! And that means it is the start of a new challenge over at Meljens Designs. This week we have Challenge #158 - What's The Point (use something with a point: stars, arrows, pins, etc).

I used the awesome Mama Whale digital stamp from Meljen's Designs for this card. I thought it would be the perfect image for a Mother's Day card for my mother. I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils. I used stamps from My Thoughts Exactly Under The Sea (You're Whale-y Great), StudioG (Arrow), Unknown (Brackets) and Hero Arts PolyClear (Happy Mother's Day). I added the paper flowers. I added gems to the arrow. This is all cardstock paper and I sewed them to add to the card. I love the look of sewing on cards! I decorated the inside of the card as well and that's it.

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week! This week has been really busy, but much better than last week. And it's almost over. I wish our weekends were a little bit longer! LOL I think I need to take a couple of days off.. just to take some time off! Hmmm.. that sounds good hehehe Alright... I'm off :)  Have a happy day!!!
