Easter At Delicious Doodles.

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!! WOOT!!! How exciting!!  And today we are starting a new challenge at Delicious Doodles. Our theme this week is Easter. There are a lot of fun Easter images at the Delicious Doodles Store!!! Here is what I came up with for our Easter theme:










As you can see I decided to make a waterfall card out of these adorable Easter images. I used Easter Chick, Easter Egg, Bear With Easter Egg, Bunny With Egg,  Doggie With Egg, and Kitty With Egg. I paper pieced each egg with some of the scrap papers that I have. All of the images where colored with Copic markers and I popped the paws, wings, beak on the chick. I added the ribbon, the flowers and gems, the eyelet, the Easter sticker. I also added the Happy Easter stamp. All of the papers are scraps of the same papers I've been using. These papers are at least a year old and I'm trying to use them up LOL  Good way to use scraps :)

Meljen's Color Challenge.

Good morning everyone and Happy Thursday!! I hope you all are having a great week. We are almost to the end. Today is a new challenge at Meljen's Designs and this challenge is a color challenge. The palette is some sequins and they are in pastel colors:


That is a fun palette to work with!! I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!!  Here is what I came up:

No dimension on this card... just colored and flat!  I used A Girl and Her Overalls. I added the stitching around the image. I used a sketch from Smeared and Smudged. The papers are all scraps from papers I've been using for all my spring and Easter creations. I colored the image with Copic markers. I sprayed the background with three different colors of sprays. The little banners, the circles, and the two lines on the inside are all stickers. There are two swirls, the one on the outside and then one on the inside --Those are stamps - Inkadinkado Sketchy Flourishes. As is the Celebrate Spring - Pink by Design Hoppy Easter.

I bought a sewing machine just so I could stitch on my crafts. I love the way it looks and the ease of using the sewing machine. I think it adds so much!! I love using this stitch compared to a straight stitch too!! But I use them both!!

Spring Has Sprung at Tammy's Scrapin Corner

Challenge #58 is beginning today at Tammy's Scrapin Corner!! The theme for this challenge is Spring Has Sprung! And it certainly has!! I am thoroughly enjoying this weather! Here is my card for this challenge:

For this challenge I did a Tri-Shutter card! I love these cards!! They are fun to make and I think they really look nice!! I used all scraps on this card and they were all scraps from My Little Shoebox. I added swirls, paper flowers from My Little Shoebox as well. The leaves are a die from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from Sentimental Susan. The image is from SKDigis - Flower Gang. I LOVE this image and I thoroughly enjoyed coloring it and popping the flowers!. I added stickles onto the flowers as well.I used the gem swirls in the middle of the card, top and bottom. I added rhinestone gems (clear) to the centers of the paper flowers on the back side of the card. I also chalked the leaves to add some dimension. All of the papers were distressed on the edges and I used several different colors to ink the edges of the sentiments. All those inks were Distress Inks. I used Copic to color up the image on this. I really love how it turned out with the spring colors, the awesome image and the fun sentiments!
