Today is Challenge #115: Traditional Christmas at Delicious Doodles.
To me Traditional means going back to what Christmas is really about. So I went with the Mother Mary image which you can find at the Delicious Doodles Shop. The colors may be a bit non Traditional, but I think the meaning of Christmas is what is traditional. I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils. I did a small amount of decoupage on this image. I used a snowflake embossing folder for the white paper. I added some lace and ribbon at the top. The die around the image is Spellbinders. The sentiment I created and added some matching pearls around it.

- I choose Traditional most of the time.. and by Traditional I mean keeping Christmas as it should be.. keeping Christ in Christmas. I love creating Christmas cards featuring the birth of Jesus, Bethlehem, Wise Men, Sentiments featuring scripture or Christmas songs about the birth of Christ. That is by far my favorite Christmas card to create!
