DT Day at Meljens Designs - St. Patricks.

Maybe a day late for St. Patrick's Day.. but today is my DT Day at Meljens Designs and I've decided to share some St. Patrick's Day love anyway :)  There are some amazing Meljens images for St. Patrick's Day... new and old!!

I decided to try one of those boxes that I've seen everywhere!! Here it is:







For the images I have used Dancing Leprechaun, Little Shamrocks, Luck O the Irish and St. Patrick's Cupcake.

I used my Copic markers to color the images. I inked around the edges of some. All of the papers are scraps that I have been working on for other projects. the images were decoupaged... I tried to show you which ones. I also added the ribbons and the gems. I love how this thing folds up to fit in an envelope. Its really great!

Good morning everyone!! Today is my day to share my Art by Miran creation!! Our theme this month is to use Green for St. Patrick's Day. And well.. I wanted to use a St. Patrick's Day image to make a card!  So I chose to use Lucky Lucy who you can find at the Art by Miran Etsy Shop.

Here is my creation:

I used my Copic Markers to color the image. I used some papers from my stash from last year! I loved all the papers from last year. I distressed the edges and stitched around them. The ovals are all Spellbinder dies. I used some shiny gold embossing powder for around the edge of the image oval and then added some Stampendous Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel as well. I used my atyouSpica gold marker to add sparkle to the coins in the pot, the coins she is tossing the belt buckles on her hat and shoes. I decoupaged the clover and rim of her hat, the pot and her front leg and front arm. I tried to get photos of the decoupage, but they didn't show that well. I added the clover buttons to top it off and stitched the inside as well.

Meljen's Design Challenge #152

Happy Thursday everyone!! This week is a fun challenge at Meljen's Designs. This is Challenge #152 - Itsy, Bitsy (3 x 3). I never knew how much fun a little 3 x 3 card would be to make! I LOVED it!!! I will definitely make some more of these :)  Cute little cards to give to people! So here is my card:

I used the Irish Brew image from Meljen's Designs. I thought it was a very fitting image for a St. Patrick's Day card. I used Copic to color the image. I used some green glitter glue on some parts of the image and Stickles on other parts to add some shine. I inked green around the sentiment. I popped the clover, the foam and then some of the bubbles above the foam to add dimension to the image. I love how it turned out. So simple and small.

Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #53

Happy Monday everyone!! The weekend goes by way too fast. I think we should work 2 days and be off 5 LOL Especially when you are sick and then you feel like you didn't even have a weekend! I felt pretty icky yesterday. I was up and in bed and up again. I have a hard time just laying in bed. It was a beautiful day too.. It would have been nice to have been well.

Taylor and her boyfriends stayed the night on Saturday. He was on the couch and Taylor in with her sister. His name is Christian. I really did like him... he seems like a really nice boy. All I can hope is that I raised her well. I pray for her.

Bailey did say to Kevin... how rude of them! They came and stayed, made a huge mess and then left. Taylor does that every time that she comes. It is really frustrating for all of us!

Well... off to start my work week. I have a birthday in a few days. I hope I feel better!!

Okay, on to this week's challenge at Tammys Scrapin Corner.  We have Challenge #53 - Include A Shamrock. Here is my card:

I used a SKDigis Image - Lucky Pot of Gold. Awesome image isn't it!! I used Copic to color the image. The Irish Pride is from Karen Foster paper. The patterened paper is Karen Foster and the cardstock is Bazzill. I used a circle die cut from Spellbinders. I used the clover buttons and I added stitching onto the card. I also added a little bit of green Stickles to the clovers on the image. I distressed a lot of the edges of the paper. I guess that is it!
