Brides of May @ The East Wind.

Good morning everyone!!! It's finally Thursday! It has been a long week! I'll be glad when it comes to an end! It is a rainy morning, but I think I may still ride this morning if I can get the bike out.  This is the last full week of school for the kids! They finish up Wednesday of next week and then we have the awful summer break LOL  Yes, you heard me... three months is just WAY too long for my kids to have nothing to do! I want my 15 year old to get a job, but he is fighting me on that.  And I have to work during the  summer which means they are home just doing nothing! Three months is just way too long!  Alright... on to the reason your really here ;)

Today is the start of Challenge #7 at The East Wind. The theme for this challenge is Bride of May (Weddings). Here is what I came up with for this challenge:







I used Aurora Floral Kiss for this card which you can find at The East Wind Etsy Shop. I love Aurora and I thought this was the perfect image for a Wedding type card. I colored her with my Copic markers and I did some decoupage on her. I popped the hair on one side and really did some detailed decoupage on the flowers on her head. I love how it turned out. I added the lace at the top of the card, the swirls and different flowers on the side and the small pearls near the stamped sentiments. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!!!
