Flowers Flowers Flowers at Crafting When We Can

Good morning everyone! And Happy Sunday! Last night I had a house full of 7 girls. They weren't too bad except for a few times of jumping around a bit much and screaming. That's girls! I think they were bothering Kevin a bit LOL It's bad enough he is in a house full of girls and then adding a bunch more on to it... a bit much I think! But this morning they will all head home and Bailey will have a heck of a cleanup on her hands! I warned her ahead of time that she would have to clean up the mess and that she should get everyone to throw away their stuff! Kevin even put a huge trash can up there for them. Okay... enough of that :)

Here is what we are up to over at Crafting When We Can. We are on Challenge #49: Floral Theme. I used Snow White from Sassy Studios. Here is my card:

The image was colored with Copic. I used all scrap papers. I cut a Cheery Lynn swirl and added flowers. The "for you" is from Doodlebug Designs/Hampton Arts stamp set.

Mad About Markers at Crafting When We Can

Good morning! And happy Sunday! Last weekend my hubby and I suffered from that awful stomach bug. Night before last he started feeling it again!! Yesterday I spent the time bleaching everything!! I scrubbed the bathroom, door knobs, light fixtures, where we touch the tv to turn it, the remote controls, mice LOL You name it ... anything I could think of I wiped down with bleach. I also bought some hand sanitizer to go on top of our regular soap washing..  I'm a big soap and water hand washer.. I work in the health industry.. makes sense ;) I stripped the bed again and washed it and the towels. LOL So there you have it... I've cleaned and cleaned. He didn't get anything full on, so I'm happy about that. Now.. on to our challenge :) Have a great rest of your weekend everyone!

Today is Challenge #46 at Crafting When We Can. Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Lacy Sunshine. The theme for this challenge is Mad About Markers. So get your markers out, Copic, Spectrum Noir, whatever you use and start coloring!

I used my copic markers on the wonderful Olivia Otter from Lacy Sunshine. I also used two different shades of green gems from my stash, a rhinestone swirl, ribbon, buttons and twine. I punched a scalloped circle which I added my sentiment to, Your Otter This World. I used brown and green cardstock from my stash. I embossed the brown with dots. The patterned papers are from Animal Crackers Matstack from DCWV. And I think that is it. I love all the papers in that matstack.

Die Cuts and/or Punches At Crafting When We Can

Happy Saturday and for those of you in the US.. Happy Memorial Day weekend. It's so nice to have a long weekend! I took off Thursday and Friday as well. Kevin and I went and saw the new Star Trek film last weekend... GREAT movie! Friday we went and saw Fast and Furious.. another great movie to see ... Love the action in these movies. And then yesterday we went and saw Iron Man. I didn't think Iron Man was as good as the last two, but it was alright. Today, my mother comes over fora  bit. I'm going to grill some hamburgers. Other than that I have been coloring LOL I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Time for a new challenge over at Crafting When We Can! Our challenge this time is to use Die Cuts and/or Punches. Here is my card:

For this card I used Happy Hour by KennyK. The images are absolutely wonderful to work with. For this image I used Copic to color. I popped her dress and the Martini.  I used Diamond Glaze on the glass to give it that glass effect. All of the patterned paper was scraps. The dies are used are the flowers and the pink leaves. These were all from Spellbinders and My Favorite Things. I added Pearls to the center of the flowers. I used some puff paint, pink, for her pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings. I also pulled out my corner punch. I haven't used that in ages. The Congrats stamp is from a Doodlebug Hampton Arts set. I used the same paper on the inside.

Crafting When We Can Colour Combo!

First off.. to all of you mothers out there!!!

***HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY***

And a very happy Sunday to you!! So it has been a pretty good week. I feel good, but the cough is hanging on LOL I gave whatever I had to Kevin, but he is feeling a bit better too. My youngest started getting sniffly too LOL! It was a busy week at work too, but a good :)  And now it is the weekend and it is suppose to rain on Saturday, Mother's Day on Sunday and I'm just going to relax and color... like a little kid!

Oh!! And I got a new toy! I got the Envelope Punch Board.. so I will have to try that out this weekend too!! And now when I have odd sized envelopes, I will be able to make them!! Woot!! hehehe  Alright.. have a great rest of your weekend everyone!!

Yesterday I worked in the garden, weeding. I'm so excited to see everything flowering! I can't wait to be able to pick some vegetables!! We should have cucumbers, tomatoes, peas, squash, zucchini, bell peppers (capsicum), peppers, radish, onion and green onions.

So, this morning, Kevin is sick. He sounds like he has what I had a couple of weeks ago. Some really awful stomach bug. He has been up all night. I'll have to watch him and make sure he is getting better or take him to the doctor. We'll see how that goes.

Now on to the new challenge at Crafting When We Can. We are on Challenge #44 which is a Colour Combo challenge. This challenge is to use Lime Green & Pink. Here is what I came up with for this challenge:

The awesome image I used is Poppy Set from Dilly Beans. I colored this image with Copic. I used a bunch of die cuts on this; Spellbinders and Memory Box. The dies are the ovals in the back of the girl, the label beneath her, the swirls under the ovals and the flowers in each of the four corners. I added the little buttons from my stash in the center and the hello is from a Doodlebug/Hampton Art stam set. I popped a few of the flowers and the bows in her hair. The green paper is from an old Club Scrap set and it is embossed with a wood grain. The front pink is glitter paper. The bright pink is just random card stock I have LOL

Copic:
R81, R83, R85
YG00, YG01, YG06, YG07, YG09
