August DT Day at Meljen's Designs.

Good morning everyone! I hope the start of your week is going well.

Today it is my August Design Team Day at Meljen's Designs. My inspiration for today is this little cutie:








I am so happy that I chose to use these colors on this adorable little Cuddle Dragon. You can find him at the Meljen's Designs Shop. I colored him up with my Copic Markers. I decoupaged his little closest leg, his head and the front wing. The Relax and the little flower is an old Rubon from the age of dinosaurs LOL!!  Then I also added some dew drops, flowers and leaves and the ribbon. I used a little of the same ribbon on the inside. I'm all about matching on the inside ;)  And that is about it.. pretty simple card. I love these little dragons! I have the other ones printed just waiting for me to color too! But then.. I love fantasy and all things dragon LOL!!

• I love ribbon and dew drops. I think ribbon just adds something special. You can just have a strip of it or a nice bow. It is such an inexpensive add to any project that just adds so much. One of my new favorites is dew drops! I love them! I love that they give that little bubble look. They come in a multitude of colors and I just think they are fantastic!

And when I read that my first thought was of the Dragonriders of Pern series of books by Anne McCaffrey that I have read a few times already. It is one of my favorite series! And how would I like to get up there and feel the breeze on my face? On the back of dragon! I think that would just be the coolest thing ever! I want my own dragon LOL!!!
