Birthday Giveaway!!

Hi everyone!!  So, March is my birthday month and I thought I would do just a little giveaway. I want to thank ALL of you for all your kind words and support!! You all are so wonderful!! Here it is...

It's not much.. just a little bit of something. So, there is a Darice Embossing Folder - Scrolls Background, Die-namics die from My Favorite Things - Prima Donna Petals, Paper Smooches - Swanky Snowdudes, Spellbinders Nestabilities - Labels Eighteen, some yellow spring time ribbon, some gold netting, five different colors of mesh from the fabric store.. there are two pink, one is wider mesh, then there is a blue, a green and some red, and 10 free images from Sentimental Susan. I love all the different mesh... there is probably about a yard of each color... not sure exactly. Well... that is it!! Just something small :)  You can sign up until March 31st and I will draw the winner using random.org on April 1st. No, really.. LOL Even though its April Fools Day LOL I'm not joking!! :p  Alright...

Whiff of Joy Project!!.

Good morning everyone!!  I feel so behind on everything!!  Kevin made my extra wheels for the scooter. Okay.. Its a Suzuki Burgman 650.. more of a motorcycle than a scooter LOL  but it is considered a scooter. Kevin had to add a three wheeler to it.. so he welded a frame, added two wheels.. and now he has made it all nice and more finished. He is amazing!! So talented!! Anyway!!! LOL  So, every chance we get we are out and about. I'm having a blast on it!!  I'm just too short to ride it two wheeled. But now I feel like I'm playing catch up now. But this weekend we are sticking to home... he is going to make sure all the welds are good and make some little changes and I'm going to craft LOL!!

Okay.. enough of my rambling!!  Today is my post for Whiff of Joy. Our project for March was to make an Easter basket. I made this cute little paper basket:

 This is the front of the basket... The image is Friendship Ride from Whiff of Joy. I colored the image with my Copic markers. I added stitching all over the basket. The papers are Reminisce Happy Easter. I added flowers from my stash.

This is from the side.. just used a different paper on the sides.

This is looking down from the top. I added the grass.. I thought the color was perfect! :)

The image is on both sides.. both colored the same. I used a Spellbinders die for the pink behind the image.  And that is what I came up with for our Easter Basket Project :)  I thought it was a pretty cute basket and really fun to make! :)

Delicious Doodles Challenge #81.

Happy Friday everyone!! Today is Challenge #81 over at Delicious Doodles!  The theme for this challenge is Mother's Day or Special Female. Here is what I came up with for this challenge:







I used Mum and Baby Dragon, which I printed twice, colored both with my Copic Markers  and did a little bit of decoupage to. I decoupaged the top fin, and the front arm. I added the top and bottom die cuts... they were cut with a Memory Box border die. I added the flowers, inked the edges of the image and stamped the Mother's Day sentiment. Whiff of Joy Christmas.

Good morning everyone!! Today I wanted to share the Christmas card that I made for March. I still need to make one up for February! I used an image from Whiff of Joy - Cookies For Santa. I love this image!!









I colored him up with my Copic markers. I fussy cut him and popped him off the wall. I added the Cheery Lynn swirl at the bottom of the image. The papers are from a Doodlebug 6x6 paper pad. The "Believe" stamp is Paper Smooches. I also added the thick ribbon, the gems, stitching around the papers and the papers are also distressed. It is such a great image! I had a blast coloring him. And I thought that paper stack was fun too!!!

Midway at Open-Minded Crafting Fun.

Good morning everyone!!  Today is our midway point at Open-Minded Crafting Fun for our Challenge #6: Use Some Buttons Challenge!  You can also find the Winners and DT Favorites for Challenge #5 here. There is one more week to enter. We hope we see you there :)

Here is my creation:








I used some scrap papers from Club Scrap. I've used several dies.. The edge border is from Memory Box. The corner, circle and label is from Spellbinders. I added some stitching, gems and the buttons and twine. The image is Alligator Tears from QKR Stampede. I colored the image with my Copic markers and did a little decoupage. I layered up everything except for the back hand and leg, then again the front leg and arm.

Meljen's Challenge #202.

Good morning everyone and a happy Thursday!! We are on to Challenge #202 at Meljens Designs, which is Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun (Girly Card). Here is my card:







I used my Copic markers to color this image. The image is Woodland Fairy and can be found in the Meljens Shop. The sentiment is a Mulberry Wood stamp. I added some pink netting you can see it a little in the back. I added the pink pearls and the ribbon. The papers are ... well... I have no idea! They were this stack of 6x6 I had and no name or anything on them. I colored the image twice and cut the one behind.

ATC for LOC.

Good morning everyone!! Today I made a little something for the Left of Center 1st Year Anniversary!!  I made this using Fire Woman from Delicious Doodles.





I colored her with my Prismacolor Pencils. I fussy cut her because I wanted to show her flowing hair. I created the background with several different sprays. Then I added a little bit of Embossing Enamel around the edge. I think she turned out okay.   I hope you like her!!

• I have two favorites... Copic Markers and what I used here... Prismacolor Pencils. I LOVE my Prismacolor pencils. The colors are vibrant. They blend so well. And I love using them with Gamsol to really get the blending and the shading. I think they are fabulous! My favorite colored pencils that I have ever had!! I would never us anything different now!

DT Day at Meljens Designs - St. Patricks.

Maybe a day late for St. Patrick's Day.. but today is my DT Day at Meljens Designs and I've decided to share some St. Patrick's Day love anyway :)  There are some amazing Meljens images for St. Patrick's Day... new and old!!

I decided to try one of those boxes that I've seen everywhere!! Here it is:







For the images I have used Dancing Leprechaun, Little Shamrocks, Luck O the Irish and St. Patrick's Cupcake.

I used my Copic markers to color the images. I inked around the edges of some. All of the papers are scraps that I have been working on for other projects. the images were decoupaged... I tried to show you which ones. I also added the ribbons and the gems. I love how this thing folds up to fit in an envelope. Its really great!
