Friday with Delicious Doodles.

Happy Friday, Happy Weekend and Happy 4th of July to all of my American crafty friends!!  I hope you have a WONDERFUL holiday! We are off to my sisters today to swim, cook out and socialize. I'm not a big fan of the latter LOL I'm not super social so these things wear me out!!  REALLY wear me out!

Okay.. on to our Challenge #95 at Delicious Doodles. This challenge will run for two weeks and is an Anything Goes challenge. In fact, all of the challenges for the summer will run for two weeks and they will all be Anything Goes!  So here is my creation for this challenge:

For this card I used Mother Mary --which you can find at the Delicious Doodles Shop. I used my Watercolor Pencils to color this image and then pulled out the paint brush and water. I think it turned out okay. I colored the skin with Copic Markers. The sentiment stamp is from Our Daily Bread. And the inside is from Paper Smooches. The black background is embossed with dots. I added the cross metal embellishment, the twine and the gems on the corner of the sentiment. I kept it colors that were not typically Christmas. Hope you like! I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this one LOL!

Copic:
  • Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11, E13
