Little Shepherd

Good evening everyone! It is quiet around the house tonight. Bailey is spending the night with a friend and Michael is working. Kevin was working downstairs on his bike for a while and I have been happily crafting and getting a post ready for a blog hop tomorrow. That has been my night :) I hope you all are having a nice day/evening. It is going to be a cold one tonight here. And it is only 8 pm and I'm ready for bed LOL How sad is that! But getting up at 4 am kind of does that to you.  Okay... I'm here to post this card for today:










For this card I have used To Warm The Hearts. This was a Facebook Freebie from Mari Digi's. I just fell in love with it and knew I wanted to create a Christmas Card with it. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I did a bit of layering. The background was created with chalk. I also used a white gel pen to create snow on that background. The top of the image I used Gold UTEE. The papers are all scraps, so I have no idea who they are from. It is great to be using the scraps up though! I hope I can keep at it! I added some stitching around the rectangles at the bottom. I've added some lace and a strip of pearls. The sentiment is Paper Smooches and I used Gold Glitter Embossing Powder from WOW on it. I also added the red Candi. On the inside I used the same papers and a couple more red Candi to finish it off and that is it! :D

Soccer Fun Congrats!*

Good morning everyone and happy Monday!It comes quickly, doesn't it! We had a really nice weekend! I took Bailey to work out with me on Saturday morning and then on the way home Kevin surprised me with "Hey, I've booked a lodge.. we are leaving when you get home and heading to North Georgia.". That was a nice surprise. We went to Hiawassee, GA overlooking Chatuge Lake. It was beautiful up there! We had a nice day! The bed was horrible though LOL We were up at 2:30 am and we headed home an hour later. When we got here... we went back to bed LOL It is always so nice to be in your own bed! Now, I'm heading off to work.. once again!

Here is my card for today:








For this card I've used M62 from Mari Digis. He is adorable! And I love soccer :)  My kids played when they were smaller. Now Bailey is into Lacrosse, which I love too! I REALLY enjoy watching the US Women's team play. Love it!! Anyway!! LOL  I've colored this image with my Copic markers. The card was cut using my Silhouette Cameo. The Congrats was also cut using my Cameo. I colored the little trophy with a Gold Metallic Painters Marker.

Jazzy Just A Note*

Good morning everyone! Happy Wednesday! I'm about to head off to work. Yesterday was just that... a day at work and the gym and that's about all. I did come home and get some more coloring done. One more image colored. I'm hoping to use it on an ATC tonight. We will see if I can get that done and maybe even a bit more coloring. I see my stack of images that I want to get done this month and not really sure how I'm going to get them all done LOL! Oh well! I'll do what I can :)  The most important thing is to just enjoy myself I think!

It should be another rainy day I believe.. hopefully I won't get too wet riding to and from work! Enjoy your day everyone!

A card for today:








This image is from Mari Digi. I colored her with my Copic Markers and did a bit of layering. I popped the saxophone and her arm and the butterfly. The notes were all wooden bits and I layered those with glitter. I also added glitter to the butterfly. I added gems to the stamped sentiment on the side tag and added a bit of twine with a gemmed charm and the ribbon tied in a bow. That tag/tab on the side is a My Favorite Thing die cut. I did a bit of stitching and distressing on the papers. I used all scraps on this card. The note paper is a scrap from a Michael's sheet of glitter paper. I added some twine and more glittered notes to the inside and a bit of stitching to finish it off.
