Challenge #69 at Tammy's Scrapin Corner

Good morning! Yesterday was a pretty lazy day. I did some crafting and took photos and got some posts ready for later LOL We did go to church in the morning and then I met Kevin for some coffee a little before lunch time. Oh! And we moved the big TV out of the bedroom and out here where we spend most of our time! So now we can watch on the big TV. We decided it was better to move it out here, because we go to bed and watch it for about 10 minutes before it goes off LOL And its not too comfy laying in the bed. So, that is what we did. Okay.. here are a couple photos of the dogs before I get to my card:

The black and white is our newest addition - Brisket and the tan is T-Bone. You can see all her ribs still, but she is filling out a bit. They are getting along really well. She is so strong though! She has a really sweet personality. The things I have noticed about her over the past couple weeks...  she cowers when you raise her hand above her... so I'm thinking someone has hit her. We are working on that. She doesn't know any commands... we have taught her sit, but we are working on it. She gets obsessed with critters... squirrels, birds and anything that moves and she wants to tear off after them. She is going to have to be put into a crate when no one is home. She can not be trusted... she has torn up newspapers and completely destroyed the cable remote control. She really has been a good dog though. Alright... enough of the extra stuff LOL On to the challenge...

This week Tammy's Scrapin Corner is challenging you with Challenge #69 - Summer Fun! Here is my card for this week:

For this card I used all scrap papers. The image is Steampunk Mermaid by Delicious Doodles. I colored the image with Copic. I really love this image for a steampunk image. She is awesome! And she was a lot of fun to color! I wanted to use Steampunk colors and mix them with summer colors. I think it turned out okay. I created the sentiment. The gears are from Spellbinders dies. I colored the copper colored ones with Copic as well. I popped the mermaid. I added just a couple of pearls and I stamped the inside with an old wooden stamp from Club Scrap. I used Versamark Ink to stamp the inside. I just wanted that watermark look.
