Challenge #77 At Tammy's Scrapin Corner

Happy Monday everyone. I can't believe its Monday already. Its just been one of those months. The alternator in the van went out. Kevin was able to change it out, but it still wasn't cheap just for the alternator! When it rains it pours.

Enough of my whining... lets get on with the fun stuff :)  Today over at Tammy's Scrapin Corner we are starting Challenge #77 - Anything Goes!! Woot!! Here is my card for this challenge:

For this challenge I used Skull Girl and Kitty @ Bugaboo Stamps. I used shades of purple bazzill and some black. I used several Spellbinder dies. I used some twine, decoupaged the image and colored the image with Copic. The sentiment was made by myself and I'll be adding it to the Sentimental Susan section at Stitchy Bears soon.

Challenge #178 at One Stitch At A Time

Good morning everyone!! Today is Challenge #178 over at One Stitch At A Time. This is going to be my last challenge until March. Kevin and I have started putting up some images in the Stitchy Bear store. We would love to have you go look at our images under Sentimental Susan. I haven't had a lot of time to draw though, so I'm going to try to get some more things drawn and up in the store. So, here is my card for this challenge:

Such a cute image! This is Lovebot by Alipeeps. I colored the image with Copic. I decoupaged him too. I used all scraps for this card. I used a Sizzix swirl. I added some Stickles to the antennae and the heart. I used some Copic Opaque White on some parts of the bot. I used twine. I embossed some tin foil and used that as a layer. The sentiment is metal and I secured it with two black brads. And thats it!

A Day Late, but Meljen's ... Not a dollar short :)

Okay... I think I must be a whole week off! I thought I had until next week to get this card posted. Ummm... Nope!! I'm late! With the kids back in school and all of the open house, meet the teachers, get a physical, this and that and never ending Ahhhhh!!!!! I think time is just way off for me LOL I'm going to make it my sole purpose this weekend to get back on track!  So... although it is a day late, here is my card for Challenge #174 - Fancy Fonts at Meljens Designs:

So, I used three separate images on this invitation. I used Smokin' Hot, Big Burger and BBQ Fixins. I colored all of them with Copic, although I have lost my list I made LOL Just another thing to add to my Oops today!! I decoupaged all three of the images. I tried to show that the best I could. The lettering and stamps are all from Stampin' Up. I love that fancy lettering so much! And it just fits a fun BBQ date! I stamped on the envelope as well to add that little bit to it. The scallops are punched, the scalloped circle and regular circle are both Spellbinder dies. The papers are all scraps that I had in my multiple scrap boxes LOL Still trying to use those scraps up a bit. And that will do it! So sorry its late everyone, but I hope you enjoy it! Can you really go wrong with Meljen Images though??  Definitely Not!

Challenge #76 at Tammy's Scrapin Corner

Happy Monday everyone! Here we go with another week. I got a lot done last week at work, so I'm hoping this week will be another productive week. I've had a hard time getting creative, but I was working on it this past weekend. I'm hoping to continue!

So, here is our challenge this week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner! We are on Challenge #76 and the theme this week is to use an Image Containing Food! Here is my card for this challenge:

The image is digi14708 Birthday Fish from Eureka Stamps. I used Copic to color the image. I added Stickles and Liquid Pearls. I used Copic Opaque White as well. I decoupaged the image of course. I used papers from a Bo Bunny Surprise! Collection 6x6 pad and a DCWV Mat Stack cardstock. The stamp Under the Sea by My Thoughts Exactly. After I colored up the fish I used the Colorless Blender to add some texture to the fish.

Challenge #75: Sports over at Tammy's Scrapin Corner

Morning everyone... Another Monday morning! I'll be headed off to work soon. But, first things first! Today begins a new challenge over at Tammy's Scrapin Corner. This week is Challenge #75 and the theme is Sports! I used an SKdigis image this week - Stretching Kitty Cat. I love this cat! Here is what I came up with for sports this week:

I used Copic to color the image LOL!! Okay.. I did a little. I used C03, C05, C06, C07, C09 and that's it. Just the stripes. I was going for a black and white card... do you get that? LOL I used the black lace, the black and white ribbon. I used part of a stamp LOL And there you have it. Pretty simple, but it was just what I was going for. No decoupage on this one either.. weird I know Vicky!! LOL  Have a great day everyone!! And a fantastic week!!

Use A Digi over at One Stitch At A Time This Week!

Happy Sunday! Its been a busy few weeks. I've had a lot going on with the kids, a lot going on at work and a hard time getting back into crafting. But! yesterday I spent the day coloring and I need to get some cards together today. Well... after a full day of shopping with the kids.. and I hate shopping LOL! But I have some images colored up. The other big thing is work. I took a promotion which is really great for myself and the family. It has really been a lot for the last few weeks though. I've had to leave one of my design teams and I'm going to put one on hold for a little while. I've started drawing again a bit and I want to spend some more time drawing. So, I'm going to try to get some time to draw in and get some more digis added to Stitchy Bears. Be sure to check them out. I have a few up there and Kevin has a bunch that he has done up there. My oldest daughter has some up there and even my youngest... she seems to be the talent in the family :)  She has an amazing one up there. Anyway... enough of that stuff! On to my card!!!

This week at One Stitch At A Time we have Challenge #176 which is Use A Digi! no trouble doing that and if you head over to Stitchy Bears Digital Stamp Outlet you will find just about any kind of digi you were ever looking for!

Here is my Congrats card for this challenge. I used Ella by Beary Dust. You can pick her up here at Stitchy Bears. I colored the image with Copic. I added ribbon, lace and pearls. I even decoupaged her and added a little lace as a layer for under her dress. The stamp is from my Doodlebug/Hampton Arts set. I just love that set of stamps. It has such a variety. I used pink ink for the stamping and that's it.

Wishing You Were Here at Meljen's Designs

Good morning!! And a very happy Thursday to you all!! I hope your week has gone well.

This Thursday we are working on Wishing You Were Here as a theme. This is Challenge #172 over at Meljen's Designs. Here is what I came up with:

I used A Girl And Her Overalls for this card. I love this image. She just looks so cute and happy. I added the border die from Memory Box and the scalloped circle is from That Stamp Spot. I layered that with the pink and white circles on top of the scalloped circle. The Wishing You Were Here Missing You sentiment was created by me. I will get that uploaded over at Stitchy Bears soon. I added the ribbon with the belt. I also added some stickles to the inside circle of the sentiment. The image was colored with Copic. No decoupage on that image :)  I know! Unusual LOL! I can't wait to see all the great cards you guys come up with!!!
