Happy Friday!!! And an Exciting Post!!.

This is very exciting.. My very first post for Delicious Doodles!!!!  This week is Challenge #79 and the theme is to use mostly green since we are coming up on St. Patrick's Day!!  So here is what I came up with for my very first Delicious Doodles post:





The image I used is Guarding the Nest. I made this with Mother's Day in mind. I think it is a perfect image for a mother or a new and expecting mother. There is nothing like a mother guarding her young! What I need to do is make a few more Mother's Day cards.. I had three and I sold all of them to a lady at work!  I used Copic Markers to color the image. I had printed it a couple of times and did some decoupage. I tried to get some pictures to show the depth. I'm not really sure if they came out that great, but you get the idea. I used several different flower dies and cut the flowers in white; the dies are from My Favorite Things I believe. I also added the vines from a Cheery Lynn Die. the back uses a corner die from Spellbinders.  The green paper is from a pack that I have. I have no idea who the designer is. I cut the paper to fit the box and then used matte gesso on it. I added the pearls to each of the flowers to top it off. I have always wanted to try a box... so I finally did! I hope you like it!
