SLSLines December Inspiration

Good morning everyone! I'm exhausted! LOL  Finding a home wears you out, but we have found a home. We put it in an offer originally, but so did an investor the same time we did. They went with the investor.. cash is king! It was suppose to be an easy sale with him just getting the AC and roof inspected, he offered a lower price and was paying cash. Quick, easy and cash. He ended up asking for a lot of things and then decided to back out. We had signed a back up contingency with these sellers in case anything fell through with the investor. So! We were pretty pleased when he backed out. We had our inspection done yesterday and there were no big issues. We should have the inspection report back this morning and then our realtor will give us some suggestions on things that we want them to do. Once that is done we will get the appraisal and hopefully we will have our home by the end of January! We are so excited!!

Okay.. enough of that LOL  Today I am sharing my December SLSLines Inspiration.

For my December Inspiration I have used Nature Goddess which you can find in the SLSLines Etsy Shop. I have colored her with my Copic Markers and done a bit of decoupage. I've used several different Spellbinders dies on this card and I believe the border die is from My Favorite Things. I also added some pink floss and the small pink butterfly charm. There is a gem in the center of the circle, gems on the butterfly and a couple of flowers. The sentiment is a Paper Smooches stamp.

My last Challenge at Delicious Doodles

Good morning!

Well.. today marks my last challenge at Delicious Doodles :(  I'm so very sad!!  The theme for this challenge is Welcome In The New Year. Okay.. I think I went a little off mark here LOL But I wanted to make something nice and different for our last challenge. So just think of this as a Welcoming in the New Year with your friends! ;) And it is a Christmas Gift for my daughter.. so she gets to begin the new year with a new box!

For this challenge I used Endless Love which you can still pick up until the end of the year at Delicious Doodles.  After that her images will be at Card Making Downloads. Okay... so I created a box. I used Golden Gel Mediums Light Molding Paste to add some texture on the box. I also cut out some different gears and layered them in the paste around the box. Then I painted the box with dark purple, the gears were painted with gold paint and the edges of the flowers. I added some leaves to the flowers around the box, added a gem in the center and ribbon around the edge of the top. I also added a blingy swirl on the top. Everything was covered with a couple of layers of Matte Mod Podge. The image was colored with my Copic markers and I tried to give the dragon some texture with the dots.

Copic Markers Used:
  • Skin:E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
  • Fairy Wings: V0000, V000, V01, V12, V15
  • Dragon: V12, V15, V17, BV08, 0
